I am so happy to have the opportunity to make music with the talented students of Stone Oak! This will be my 22nd year at Stone Oak, and I can't wait to see familiar faces and meet all of our new Stone Oak Bobcats! I grew up in the North East district and attended Garner Middle School and MacArthur High School. I loved my experience in the district, and I am honored to now give back to the community that raised me. I am committed to offering a fun, engaging, purposeful music curriculum that will be accessible to all of my students!

Outside of school, I enjoy singing with my church choir and playing with the handbell choir. Singing is a source of great joy and personal expression in my life. I hope that many of my students begin to see the value of music through our music program here at Stone Oak.

My goals for this year:

• To inspire and facilitate a space for each student to discover what their personal musical legacy will be
• Create opportunities for students to become leaders in music
• Instill a greater understanding of the 7 habits and how they can be utilized in music
• Make myself and our music department an integral part of our school community of leaders
