Hola padres de familia,

Mi nombre es Alejandro Avila. Yo nací en Cd. Juárez Chihuahua pero me crié en la ciudad de San Antonio desde los 11 años. Crecí rodeado de las tradiciones  mexicanas y tejanas. Me gradué de una escuela pública del oeste de San Antonio y decidí seguir mi sueño de convertirme en maestro bilingüe. Fui a la escuela San Antonio College, donde obtuve mi diploma de Associate's en educación. Después me transferí a la Universidad de Texas A&M-San Antonio y obtuve mi diploma de estudios bilingües con certificación de maestro. Este es mi 5to año como maestro, pero tengo experiencia en clases de kínder, primero segundo y cuarto grado. Espero que este año sea un bonita experiencia de aprendizaje para su hijo/hija.

My name is Alejandro Avila. I was born in Cd. Juárez Chihuahua but I have lived in the city of San Antonio since I was 11 years old. I grew up surrounded by Mexican and Texan traditions. I graduated from a public school in the West part of San Antonio and decided to continue my dream of becoming a bilingual teacher. I went to San Antonio College, where I got my Associate's degree in education. I then transferred to Texas A&M-San Antonio University where I received a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a Concentration in EC-6 Bilingual Generalist . This is my 5th year as a teacher, but I have experience in kindergarten, first, second and fourth grade. I hope this year is an enjoyable learning experience for your child and myself.
