Hello! I am Ms. Sandra Divnick [pronunciation], and I am the music teacher at the Pre-K Academy at West Avenue! I am passionate and delighted to help children play, think, create, investigate, improve, coordinate, wonder, discover, thrive, manage, reflect, adapt, decompress, harmonize, synchronize, enjoy and (it goes without saying, right?) LEARN. And all those things can be developed through music and musicianship! It is a fantastic job, and I'm thrilled to have it.

In addition to teaching Pre-K Music, I also serve as an instructional liaison and coordinator for elementary music teachers in the district. As "cluster coordinator," I work with the NEISD Fine Arts office to facilitate and promote skillful teaching, professional development, and the equipment needs of our elementary music teachers. Valuable professional development is a passion of mine, and I am honored to have presented to music teachers not only in my district, but across the state.
