I am excited to be part of the Coker Cub family, and look forward to another successful school year.  This is my sixth year at North East ISD, and have been teaching for twenty-two years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish/Bilingual Education from St. Edward’s University, and a master’s degree in Bilingual Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language at the University of Texas in Brownsville.

My goal is to empower and help students develop their fullest potential by giving them the educational tools to be life-long learners.  As an educator, I am constantly researching other educational approaches to enrich students’ minds, and implement the best strategies for them be successful. This year, your child will improve and grow in their reading skills by reading memorable novels and stories, as well as becoming incredible writers and math problem solvers. They will also enjoy learning about Science and Texas History.  

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work and collaborate with this amazing school community.  I look forward to working with your child. We will have an amazing year of learning!
