I am Mrs. Miranda. This is my Second year at NEISD as a teacher, but I attended Olmos ES, Nimitz MS, and graduated from LEE HS in 2006. I am so honored to return to my roots and teach the children of my neighbors and friends as a 6th Grade Social Studies Dual Language Teacher. It is truly a blessing.

I have previously taught for 6 years as a Bilingual Elementary Teacher. My experience in the classroom has taught me that a student's emotional wellbeing is interconnected with their academic performance. I strive to create a safe learning environment where students can learn and grow.

Fun Facts:

1) I am a US Army Reservist for a Medical Support Unit

2) I love hiking and traveling

3) I don't like coffee

Bienvenidos

Soy la Sra. Miranda. Este es mi segundo año en NEISD como maestra, pero asistí a Olmos ES, Nimitz MS, 
y me gradué de LEE HS en 2006. Me siento muy honrada de regresar a mis raíces y enseñar a los hijos 
de mis vecinos y amigos como maestra de 6to grado, Estudios Sociales Lenguaje Dual. Realmente es una 
bendición.

Anteriormente, he enseñado por 6 años como maestra de primaria bilingüe. Mi experiencia en el la clase me ha enseñado que el bienestar 
emocional de un estudiante está interconectado con su desempeño académico. Me esfuerzo por crear un 
entorno de aprendizaje seguro donde los estudiantes puedan aprender y crecer.

Un poco mas sobre mi:

1) Soy reservista del US Army para una unidad de apoyo médico

2) Me encanta ir de excursión y viajar

3) No me gusta el café
