Star Books Cafe

Fifth graders were welcomed into Starbooks Beach Cafe to "book taste" books and sip on lemonade.

The students were given a menu to rate the cover and make comments on books as they sampled a variety of genres. Some of the books were next year's Bluebonnet nominees and others were books that are new to our collection.

After tasting 4-6 books, the student at the table discussed what books they would like to read or not like to read for the summer.

We would like to thank the management at the Starbucks located at 8055 West Ave. for donating over 75 Starbucks cups, lids and straws for our event.
