I am Ms. Julie Payne,  I am very enthusiastic and believe in teamwork, between teachers, students, and families.  In December of 1994 I received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Physical Education from Sam Houston State University.  In addition I am also a certified ESL, GT, and Special Education  teacher. I have 2 lovely children , a daughter and a son.  I have 3 dogs, Bella, Trigg, and Batman.  I love running, running races, owls, small beady eyed animals and sour drinks and food.   I love teaching and helping children explore to find who they are and what they want to become.  My passion is making children feel safe and that they have a very special place in this world.  I am very excited to be continuing my teaching career past my retirement date.  I love each and every student and their families.
