I am Mrs. Julie Payne,  I am very enthusiastic and believe in teamwork, between teachers, students, and families.  In December of 1994 I received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Physical Education from Sam Houston State University.  In addition I am also a certified ESL, GT, and Special Education  teacher. My first teaching adventure was teaching P.E. and Health for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, in addition, I coached 7th and 8th grade girls' athletics.  I have also taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades plus PE and girl's thletics coaxhthroughout my career.  I have taught in Lubbock ISD, Van Vleck ISD, Edgewood ISD, and North East ISD.  I am married to a wonderful man.   We have 2 children, a daughter who is a forever senior at Sam Houston State University and is on the powerlifting team . . She will graduate with a double major in psychology and bio-med and a criminal justice minor to go on to med school for psychiatry. She will be getting married in April.  Our son is a junior at NSites, Technology  High School  (Holmes Campus) in Northside ISD and plays on the high school varsity baseball team and will graduate with certification in computer programming and coding to go on to to be an ethical hacker.  Now about me.  I have 2 dogs, Max and Bella.  I love running, running races, owls, small beady eyed animals and sour drinks and food.   I love teaching and helping children explore to find who they are and what they want to become.  My passion is making children feel safe and that they have a very special place in this world.  I am very excited to be teaching continuing my teaching career past my retirement date.  I love each and every student and their families.
