I am excited about my second year here at Clear Spring Elementary and am looking forward to working with the students, teachers, families, and community members. This is my eleventh year as an assistant principal and my twenty-first year as an educator.
I am a 1999 graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I hold a Texas Teaching Certificate in both Elementary Self-contained and Elementary Music. I also hold a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University with a Texas Principal Certification in grades EC-12.
In the past, I have been selected as the North East Teacher of the Year in 2004 at Montgomery Elementary and 2009 at Longs Creek Elementary. I am also honored to be a PTA Lifetime Member and to have served on the District Educational Improvement Council.
My goal is to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment for all of our students and teachers. I strive to foster strong, nurturing relationships with all school community members in order to help build the strongest scholars and citizens possible.
Please know that my door is always open for you. Do not hesitate to contact me at the links provided above. I am looking forward to our work together!
