Welcome to 8th grade ELAR 2020-2021! I am originally from Mission, Texas located in the Rio Grand Valley and moved to San Antonio 8 years ago.  I have a BA in English from the University of Texas Pan American. I have been teaching English Language Arts and Reading for 13 years and this will be my 5th year at Jackson. I will also be the 8th grade A team volleyball coach. My goal for my students is to gain knowledge and a passion for writing and reading that will follow them in their future education. I am excited for a new, fabulous school year together!
