Ms. Stacey Lewis

Hello! My name is Stacey Lewis, and I am a highly dedicated and passionate educator with a wealth of experience in the field. With over 24 years of experience in various roles within the education sector, I have developed a deep understanding and love for teaching. Currently, I hold the position of Gifted and talented cluster teacher for Colonial Hills and Ridgeview. In this role, I have the privilege of teaching gifted and talented students across two different campuses. Every day, I am inspired by the incredible potential and unique abilities of these students, and I am committed to providing them with a nurturing and challenging learning environment. Before joining the NEISD community, I spent a significant part of my career in SAISD, where I held numerous roles. I had the opportunity to teach 4th grade for 9 years, during which I honed my instructional skills and developed a strong rapport with my students. Following my time in the classroom, I transitioned into the role of a curriculum specialist for 2 years, where I had the chance to contribute to the development of innovative and effective teaching strategies. Driven by a desire to make a broader impact in education, I delved into the realm of administration and served as an administrator for 13 years. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the organizational aspects of education and provided me with the opportunity to shape school policies and initiatives that positively influence student outcomes. Furthermore, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff, which provided me with a strong foundation in pedagogical principles. To further enhance my skills and deepen my knowledge, I pursued a Master's degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M Kingsville. Throughout my career, I have always been driven by a genuine love for teaching and a commitment to ensuring the success and growth of my students. I am a firm believer in providing a holistic educational experience that nurtures not only academic excellence but also the social and emotional development of each student. In conclusion, I am a dedicated and experienced educator who is passionate about creating a positive impact in the lives of students. With a strong academic background, extensive experience, and an unwavering commitment to the field of education, I am confident in my ability to contribute to any educational institution.
