Mrs. Samantha Whited

Hello! Thank you for visiting my page! 

I grew up here in San Antonio and attended North East schools. After high school I attended the University of the Incarnate Word. There I recieved my Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a double minor in Reading and Special Education.

After college I took sometime off to be a full time mom. Family is very important to me and it is one of my key values I teach my students every year. While we are together in our class we are a family. I've found that it helps build a great community of learners, who respect each other and our classroom. They take pride in keeping our room ready to learn.

I enjoy my time in the classroom with my students. Over the last few years I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with student from our New Comer program. This opportuniy has given me many opportunities to rebuild and refine myself as an educator. I truely believe a teacher is never done learning. 

I am so excited to have the opportunity to give back to my community, district, and continue to educate our future leaders.
