How long can I keep my library books?
Posted by:You may keep your books for 2 weeks. You may renew your books for an additional 2 weeks.

How do I know when my books are due?
Posted by:The date the book is due is stamped on the back of the book or on the inside cover. Your due date is the last stamp listed.

Does the Jackson Library charge overdue fines?
Posted by:No. As of January 6, 2020, the Jackson Library will no longer charge overdue fines. We do, however, ask that students return books on or before the due date so that other students may check out the books.

Where do I return my books?
Posted by:You may return your books in the book drop at the circulation desk or in the bookdrop in the hallway behind the library.

What happens if I lose or damage a library book?
Posted by:Damaged and lost books must be paid for before you may check out other books.
Please do not attempt to repair a damaged library book. Bring the book to the librarian so it can be properly repaired with specialized repair materials. Students will not be charged for books that can be repaired (determined by the librarian).
Books that get wet, have been marked up or drawn on or chewed by pets can not be repaired and will need to be paid for.

Can I use the library as a shortcut between the front and back hallways?
