Hello!!! I am a special education teacher with 3 years' experience.  This is my first year at Huebner and I am happy to start a new chapter as a Husky.  In my 2nd year at my previous schoo, Hidden Forest Elementary, I was named the campus Teacher of the Year.  After a 7-year career in Occupational Therapy, I made the switch to education and being named Teacher of the Year was validation that I made the right choice to switch careers.

I am a graduate of Texas A&M (whoop!!!) and have a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.  The biggest thing about me is that I am a big kid at heart.  Words that I live by are “I don’t claim to be the best, but I do claim to try the hardest.”  Hopefully, you will see the passion and commitment I bring to each one of my students.

I married my high school sweetheart, and have a beautiful daughter named Penelope and just welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Santiago, on July 27th, 2022.  I love sports, comic books, magic, and making people laugh.
