Technical Theatre

Technical Theatre I is the preliminary course that all technicians and backstage workers in Johnson Theatre will need to take. You will learn information including:

• Scenic Design and Construction
• Costuming
• Lighting
• Sound
• Stage Makeup

And much, Much MORE!

Students who choose to continue in Technical Theatre will do advanced work in a specialty area or areas of their choosing in their Technical Theatre II, Technical Theatre III or Technical Theatre IV class. These students are the backbone of creating all of the performances showcased here at Johnson.
