Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

I grew up in a small town in Minnesota and, after 11 years in the United States Army, settled in San Antonio.  I completed all the requirements for the Doctor of Business Administration at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in the Spring of 2018. I also have a B.B.A and an M.S. in Sports Management from UIW.

Prior to teaching at Johnson, I was the Manager of Operations for Athletics at UIW, responsible for the day to day business operations of the athletic department, including ticket sales and marketing. While there, I got my first chance to lead a classroom as an adjunct professor, which I did for three years.  That decision led to the desire to teach full-time, bringing me to CTJ.

This is my 10th year at CTJ. My goals for the coming year are to continue to build a sound business and marketing education foundation for the students that incorporates and supports the elements of the core classes.
