Mr. Michael Tummins

I am excited to be teaching Geometry and Statistics to Johnson Jaguar students in addition to being the Head Cross Country and Girls Track coach for student athletes. I graduated from Sam Houston State Universty with my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and from the University of Houston with my Masters of Art in Mathematics.

When I am not teaching or coaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children.

The 2023-2024 school year will be my first school year teaching and coaching at Johnson High School, but I have been coaching and teaching since 2009. My goal is to help guide students towards academic success and make what they are learning interesting and applicable to their daily lives. I love my job, and I am thankful for the opportunity to teach and learn from such great students! Please feel free to contact me anytime. I am always happy to help to the best of my ability!
