Former Churchill High School Volleyball Coach Wanda Bingham has been selected for the SA Sports Hall of Fame!

“Being selected for the Sports Hall of Fame is such an honor that I’m still trying to comprehend it all,” said Bingham.

Bingham was hired right out of college to coach at Churchill in 1973. She led the team to several state titles and winning records before ending her coaching career in 1995. Bingham was also an Assistant Principal at Reagan High School from 2000-2010.

Bingham was named to the Hall of Fame alongside the rest of her class, former San Antonio Spur Devin Brown, Olympic Track coach Rose Monday, PGA Golfer Jimmy Walker and D1 Tennis Champion Emilie Burrer Foster.

Congrats Coach!

Thank you for the example you’ve set for our student athletes #theNEISDway
