Serving Serna with a smile

Robyn Pryor smiling with text

“My favorite part is starting off the day greeting students. They get out of the car giving hugs.”

You can’t miss Robyn Pryor when you pull into Serna Elementary School. The Assistant Principal (AP) loves starting every morning outside in the drop-off line with a smile, greeting kids as they arrive at school for the day right alongside Principal Jennifer Lomas.

Robyn takes great pride in spreading positivity and kindness on campus. Sharing that light is part of what made her want to make the jump from teacher to AP.

“I love spending time with the kids and building those relationships and helping them achieve their goals,” said Robyn. “I want to make a difference on a larger scale. So, not only in the classroom but with multiple students and the community. Building strong relationships with students and their families is really important to me.”

Education was always the path for Robyn. After six years teaching at Castle Hills Elementary School, she’s proud to be the AP at Serna.

April 3-7 is National Assistant Principal Week. Join us in thanking Robyn Pryor and all of the amazing NEISD Assistant Principals who work so hard to support our students, teachers, parents and community.
