    Every NEISD campus has a Registered Nurse (RN) ready to aide your student. Additionally, Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Clinic Assistants (CAs), supervised by the RN, are at designated campuses.

    Vision and Hearing Screenings will continue for PK, 1st, 3rd and 5th graders, as well as for any student new to NEISD.

    Virtual students will be offered an opportunity to visit campus to complete screenings in a safe manner.

    • Scoliosis screenings for 5th grade girls

    School nurses are a primary resource in recognizing and managing children´s health problems. School nurses have the professional education and expertise to function successfully in the separate complete systems of education and health care. NEISD school nurses are committed to each child´s individual development and safety.
