Hi! I'm Katie and I'm currently a 5th grade teacher at Serna Elementary School (Go Seals!!). I started my teaching career as a para-professinal at Clear Spring in 2008 helping the campus with small groups, testing, substituting and so many other things! I was hired the next year to be a 4th grade teacher at East Terrell Hills where I taught 4th and 5th grade (I was also a CO-Teach class for 2 years). I was at ETH for 5 years and then I decided to resign and become a mom in 2014! I've been at home with my 2 girls for the last 7 years and am FINALLY making my way back to the classroom. I ADORE 5th grade and teaching and am so excited to be back with NEISD. I look foward to having your kiddos in my class and taking them another year further in their educational growth!
