I hold a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin.

My first teaching assignment was 2005/2006 as a Spanish teacher at St. Patricks High School in Kenosha, WI.  I moved to San Antonio, TX in 2006 and worked in the Comal ISD at Specht Elementary in the autism ward.

In 2007 I took a job at JISD working at Karen Wagner HS where I taught world history, economics, sociology, and U.S. history.  I stayed on with JISD for 5 years.

I later left JISD for NEISD where I took a position as an elementary coach at Regency Place.  I stayed there for 2 years and though I had grown to love the title of Coach Rich, I had the classroom calling me back.

During 2013, I joined the Larkspur team teaching 3rd grade and this is where I am.
