Hello!

My name is Meredith Parks and I am the Math Acceleration Coach here at Windcrest Elementary.  I am so excited to be a shining star! This is my 21st year teaching and my 5th year as an instructional coach.  There is nothing more exciting than working with students and teachers in the area of math.  It is my job to help students feel successful and see their potential as learners.  I feel honored to be a part of each students' journey here at Windcrest. 

I come from a long line of teachers, from my great-grandmother to my parents.  I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a love for mountains and red and green chile.  I attended the University of New Mexico where I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction.  I have a passion for teaching.  Watching students find their learning styles and making education a priority is very important to me. 

It is truly an honor to be on this campus making a difference for students & teachers!
