Sra. Arredondo-Gonzalez

¡Bienvenidos a la escuela Primaria de Walzem!  Mi nombre es Sra. Arredondo- Gonzalez y estoy muy emocionada de ser su maestra de segundo grado.  ¡Este año cumplire catorce años de enseñanza aquí en Walzem y cada vez es diferente y emocionante!  Me siento agradecida de tener la oportunidad de ser tu maestra durante este año escolar. 

Welcome to Walzem Elementary School! My name is Mrs. Arredondo-Gonzalez and I am beyond excited to be your 2nd grade teacher.  This is my 14th year teaching at Walzem Elementary and every year is just as exciting!  I feel blessed to have this opportunity to be your teacher for this coming school year! 

I was born and raised in Brownsville, a very small town at the tip of Texas that borders Mexico.  As a child, my favorite places to play were at either Boca Chica Beach or at South Padre Island.  My parents and some of my siblings still live there so I visit them often and we enjoy eachother's company at the beach.  After attending two years at The University of Texas at Brownsville I decided to move to San Antonio in 2002 where I attended UTSA.  In 2007 I graduated and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Bilingual Early Childhood Education. 

My husband Brian, my son Matthew and I live in Schertz which is a small town north of San Antonio.  We have two rambunctious dogs named Chico and Rocco.  We love spending time together in our garden, we enjoy walks in our neighborhood and we frequently visit Landa Park where Matthew can observe and explore nature.  I love my family!
