Safety Patrol

What does Safety Patrol do?

Jackson Keller Safety Patrol is a program that promotes leadership and responsibility skills.  Our Safety Patrols help maintain discipline and orderliness inside/outside of our school during arrival/dismissal times. They keep students safe by reminding them not to run, help around the school and guide students to/from their vehicles/busses, open/close doors and assist our staff during arrival/departure time.

Jackson Keller Safety Patrols is a program designed to be committed to keeping our school safe during morning and afternoon dismissal.

Jackson Keller Safety Patrols Program creates responsible, dependable, leaders who are respected by other students, parents, and our community.  It is a job commitment and service to our school throughout the year.

PE Coaches discuss the commitment and responsibility to our students, along with input from our fifth grade teachers.  PE coaches hand out a form to take home and discuss with their parents.  Students and parents must sign the permission slip to begin.
