Girlstart After School is a free weekly program encouraging young women to believe in themselves and to pursue paths to higher education and career opportunities in STEM. Girlstart seeks to enhance girls’ learning through engaging activities that introduce important STEM concepts in a hands-on and informal environment.

The world’s greatest challenges need new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) ideas and insights. Girlstart’s mission is to solve this. We increase girls’ interest and engagement in STEM through nationally recognized informal STEM education programs. By empowering more girls to continue their interest in STEM, we help make bright futures.
