I was born and raised right here in San Antonio Texas; graduating from Clark High School.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University in Business Analysis and recently completed my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  My teaching career began in 2005 with Comal ISD, where I taught 4th grade for two years.  I quickly realized that North East ISD was the district I wanted to work for and was hired at Steubing Ranch Elementary in 2007 where I worked for 9 years.  During this time,  I taught 3rd and 4th grade before becoming an instructional intervention teacher for six years.  In 2011,  I was selected for the Trinity Prize recipient for my campus and in 2014,  I was also chosen as the Teacher of the Year.  This year marks my second year as the Assistant Principal at El Dorado Elementary.  I am so lucky to be surrounded by remarkable staff and teachers that are passionate about our students.

Outside of school, I have two wonderful children.  My son is a sophomore in college and my daughter is a senior at Churchill High School.  I love reading, quilting, and spending time with my family.

My passion for education and developing the 360 child drives me to make a difference every day at El Dorado Elementary.
