    Serving Grades Pre-K through 5

Camelot Elementary School is a traditional school with lots of traditions! We are a Leader in Me School with four houses (Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi and Rêveur) that each student and staff member is a part of and represents proudly. Our four houses are one big family! Camelot’s staff and faculty value positive relationships with students and character building. We wholeheartedly believe in the words of the late Rita Pierson, “Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.” These words are not only on the wall in our front office, instead they are also words that we live by each day.

    Mission

At Camelot Elementary School, our mission is to provide a safe learning environment that creates confident learners. We will promote a partnership of mutual respect within the community, families, staff and students to ensure every student reaches their full potential. We believe that parents and the community share with educators the responsibility for developing our children into the best people they can become, enabling them to meet the challenges of tomorrow. We are a proud Leader In Me School, teaching our students the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. This gives them confidence, independence and self-reliance. Our students understand they can’t control everything, so we empower them to change and control what they can. Our goal is to make sure our students don’t just have academic success but become leaders who are ready for life outside our campus.

  • Our Cluster

Welcome to the Roosevelt Cluster in the North East Independent School District. As a Camelot Elementary School student, your child will establish a passion, curiosity, and foundation for life-long learning while nurturing their social and emotional skills. Outside of the classroom, your child can embrace what they love or try something new through diverse clubs, programs and organizations.

Your child will discover even more opportunities at Ed White and Krueger Middle School. As their academic foundation expands in the classroom, their circle of friends and experiences will grow through new opportunities in Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL contests, and more. Ed White is home to the Design and Technology Academy (DATA) – a magnet for students who love computer coding, programming, and information technology. The Krueger School of Applied Technologies (KSAT) gives students the chance to explore their passion for rocketry and robotics.

At Roosevelt High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing beloved Rough Rider traditions with memories that will last a lifetime. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of programs, organizations, and clubs – from Athletics to JROTC, Band, Dance, PALS, Photography, UIL, and much more. Students in the DATA high school magnet fine-tune their skills in classes like architecture, computer science, and animation. In the Engineering and Technologies Academy (ETA), students expand on their passion for design, rocketry, and engineering.

There’s so much to discover in the Roosevelt cluster. Thank you for choosing NEISD.
