How many books can my child check out?

Pre Kinder, Kinder, and 1st: 1 book for 1 week
2nd- 5th grades: 2 books for 2 weeks
E-books are available for checkout from home, as well.

What are my child's library goals?
Posted by:At The Redland Oaks Library, we encourage your child to become a critical thinker, enthusiastic reader, skillful researcher, and ethical user of information. Your child will have the opportunity to visit the library to check out books, listen to stories, learn library skills, and much more!

What happens if my child loses or damages a book?

Book Care
Please talk to your child about a safe place to put their books so they do not lose them, and so that they are not damaged. By asking them to return their books on time and in good condition, we are teaching them to be responsible library patrons. If a book is lost, late, or damaged a notice will be send home with the students.

What is an ISBN?
Posted by:An ISBN is an International Standard Book Number. ISBNs were 10 digits in length up to the end of December 2006, but since 1 January 2007 they now always consist of 13 digits. ISBNs are calculated using a specific mathematical formula and include a check digit to validate the number.
