Hello!! My name is Cayla Palacios and I am one of the ELAR Instructional Coaches at Colonial Hills. This is my 11th year in education and second year here at Colonial Hills!!
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my family, shopping, writing poetry, and watching movies!
I was born in Minot, North Dakota and moved to Texas when I was in third grade. Once I moved to Texas, I attended school in NEISD schools until graduating from Reagan High School. From there, I attended college at the University of Texas at San Antonio where I got my Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and went on to complete my masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at The University of Texas at Arlington.
