I can’t find the words needed to express how much I love being a teacher. I have been given the opportunity to touch the lives of the children who are our future. I cherish the memories that have been made the last 16 years of my teaching career. I’m excited for what the future holds not just for myself but for your children. In 2005 I graduated Magna Cum Laude from UTSA with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. My certifications include Early Childhood Education through 4th grade and English as a Second Language (ESL). I joined the North East ISD family in 2005 as a first grade teacher. I taught first grade for nine years then I was given the opportunity to teach third grade for six years. This 2021-2022 school year will be my second year in second grade.
