Miss Lopez

Miss Lopez is thrilled to join the Camelot Elementary School community as a first-year elementary music teacher. She recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Texas State University in May 2024. During her time at Texas State, Miss Lopez gained valuable experience by observing and student teaching in various programs across Central Texas, including Simon Middle School in Hays ISD, Oak Run Middle School, and Memorial Elementary School in New Braunfels ISD.

In addition to her campus experiences, Miss Lopez has contributed to the musical community by judging Region 18’s TMEA All-State Pre-Area competitions for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. She also participated in choir recruitment workshops at Bush Middle School in November 2021 and Tejeda Middle School in January 2024. 

Miss Lopez believes that all children are unique and deserve a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. She is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to share their ideas and take risks. Miss Lopez is excited to start this new school year and looks forward to inspiring her students through the joy of music.
