Course Selection & Endorsements

Madison High School 2024-2025 Course Selections Kick-Off:
Course selection will kick off with a special video from the counseling office on February 1st to be shown during 2nd period FLEX time. All 9th - 11th grade students will meet with their Madison HS counselor to input courses for the 2024-2025 school year.

Directions to Enter Courses in Skyward
Students Meet with Counselors
Counselors will meet with students individually on the following dates and times to review and advise on course selections and to ensure they are entered in Skyward:
- February 7th - 9th: Counselors will meet with 9th grade students through Biology classes
- February 12th - 16th: Counselors will meet with 10th grade students through Geometry and Algebra II classes
- February 20th - March 1st: Counselors will meet with 11th grade students in the counseling office
8th Grade Information
Counselors will be meeting with all 8th grade students on the following dates and times to review and advise on course selections and to ensure they are entered in Skyward:
- January 26th: Counselors will be meeting with 8th grade students at Harris Middle School
- February 1st: Counselors will be meeting with 8th grade students at Wood Middle School
- February 2nd: Counselors will be meeting with 8th grade students at Driscoll Middle School

Endorsements
Endorsements consist of a related series of courses that are grouped together by interest or skill set. Students must select an endorsement in the 9th grade. Visit your school counselor to learn more about your options. Students may earn more than one endorsement, but at least one is required for students to graduate on the Distinguished Level of Achievement Plan (DLOA).
