Hello Mavericks! I am Coach Bowers and this is my 7th year of teaching and coaching but my 1st in NEISD. I spent the first 5 years of my career at Holden High School in Louisiana where I taught a variety of subjects: Health, PE, Health Occupations and Emergency Medical Responder. I was also the head softball coach and my team won 4 straight softball championship titles! In 2022, my family and I moved to New Braunfels and I began teaching Special Education. Currently, I am an English II Co-Teacher and the softball and cross country assistant coach at Madison. 

I was born in raised in Walker, Louisiana, a small town right outside of Baton Rouge. Upon Graduation from Walker High School, I attended the University of Louisiana in Lafayette where I obtained my Bachelors Degree while playing softball for the Ragin' Cajuns!

My wife, Lana and I have been married for 5 years. We have been extremely blessed to adopt two amazing boys, Pierre who is 11 and Beckham who is 4.
