Mr. Thompson
Mr. Thompson is a San Antonio native, growing up in the west side, graduating in 1997 from Sidney Lanier HS with high honors in science. While in high school, Mr. Thompson was very active in school activities, such as Marching Band, Concert Band, UIL science, Octagon club, Spirit Committee, Photography, Student Council, and Young Explorers
Graduating from UTSA, 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology, Mr. Thompson started working for UTHSCSA, for the Texas Medical Rangers, where he worked with many accomplished doctors, surgeons and military brass. Mr. Thompson soon found an opportunity to work at a middle school, tutoring and substituting, where he found his true calling, teaching. Soon thereafter he began teaching science and Texas History.
In 2008, Mr. Thompson started working at Pearsall High School as science teacher, teaching Chemistry, Physics, IPC, Environmental Science and TAKS remediation. After teaching there for seven years, Mr. Thompson had the opportunity to work at Madison High School as a physics teacher.
