Music has been a part of my life since joining choir in middle school. I continued singing until graduating from High School.  I played the keyboard in Jazz Band my sophomore year, and was in the Flags Corps as well. The turning point for me was when my Band Director asked me if I would be interested in switching from Flags to Percussion. Making this change would prove to be the best experience for me, and I decided to major in music and receive my degree in Music All Level Choral.

For me, teaching helps me stay in touch with my love of music while being able to share this with my students.  Though I was never interested in performing in the spotlight, it gives me great joy when I see my students shine on stage.
