Aimee Arlington

I am thrilled to be your student's Math teacher.  I have been teaching in North East ISD since 2014.  Prior to this year, I spent many hours as a tutor, PTA board member and classroom volunteer.  However, several years ago, I decided to make my passion for the classroom my career.  I decided to leave the business world after 20 years and follow my heart.  I haven't looked back, as teaching is everything I hoped it would be.  While I spent the first five years of my teaching career as a general education teacher in fifth grade, I made the jump to the Hyper-Accelerated Math department in 2019.  I LOVE teaching mathematics, and HAM students inspire me every day!  I look forward to a year filled with challenges, problem-solving and fun!

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family.  I have been married for 29 years to my best friend and college sweetheart, David.  Together, we have 3 sons who keep us very busy (Brandon, a graduate of Texas A&M University, living in the Dallas area; Jake, a graduate of Texas A&M University, living in the Dallas area; and, Matthew, a junior at Johnson High School).

I look forward to a year of learning and exploration!
