My name is Brenda Rodriguez. I was born and raised right here in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, and I received my early childhood education certificate from UTSA. This is my 24th year teaching in the NEISD. I have taught at Camlot Elementary and West Avenue Elementary before finding a forever home at Dellview. In my 24 years of teaching, I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. At Dellview Elementary, I have taught 3rd grade for the last 5 years and absolutely love it!

On Saturday mornings, I volunteer with an organization called Robyn's NEST. It is an outreach program that helps build literacy in the community. The traveling classroom visits different parts of the community, offering learning moments for families. 

In my spare time, I love spending my time with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading, watching Netflix, working out, and hiking in the surrounding local parks.
