Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

My name is Diana Leal, and I am proud to serve as the principal of Woodstone Elementary. I was born and raised in San Antonio and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University.

I have spent my entire career in North East ISD, beginning as a teacher at Walzem Elementary. I then served as assistant principal at Woodstone for seven years and most recently held the same position at Colonial Hills Elementary. It is a true joy to return to Woodstone, a school deeply rooted in community, family, and a shared commitment to student success.

Outside of school, I enjoy saltwater fishing, spending weekends with my family in Rockport, Texas, and playing a little guitar in my free time.
I am thrilled to begin this new chapter with our amazing students, staff, and families. It’s an honor to lead this incredible school, and I look forward to a fantastic year ahead. Go Riders!

      Mrs. Robyn Bandy

Hello, my name is Robyn Bandy.

With 13 years in education, I could not be more excited about my new role as Assistant Principal of Woodstone Elementary!

I hold a Bachelor degree from Texas A&M University in Agricultural Development, a Master of Business Administration from UTSA and a Master of Curriculum and Instruction from UTSA. In addition, I am certified Principal as Instructional Leader through Schreiner University. All of my educational experiences reflect my own drive as a professional learner which I hope to cultivate in the teachers and students at Woodstone Elementary.

I taught for 10 years at Wood Middle School so I feel like I am coming home. I am committed to working and collaborating as a team with the community, parents, educators, and students to create and maintain a safe, comfortable environment where students feel supported and challenged as they strive for excellence.
