Chess Club

The Chess Club is an after-school club that is open to all 3rd-5th grade students interested in learning to play this intense game of strategy that fosters critical thinking. The game of chess helps young people learn to concentrate, think logically, overcome obstacles, spot patterns and categorize information. Chess club will meet in room 12 on Fridays from 3:30-4:00 pm. Students will learn how to play the game and participate in mock matches and tournaments.
