    Serving Grades PK through 5

Welcome to Hardy Oak Elementary School, home of the Hornets and a Leader in Me School. Hardy Oak was built in 2000 and we are a Pre-k through Fifth grade campus. We have 650 students enrolled in our campus and we have 65 staff members. In order to support the needs of our students and staff, we have one full time counselor, a part time counselor, a reading interventionist teacher, and a family specialist. We also feel very fortunate to have a full time Gifted and Talented Program at Hardy Oak.

    Mission

Creating Opportunities for Everyone to Be Extraordinary

    Vision

At Hardy Oak we believe in Creating Opportunities for Everyone to Be EXTRAORDINARY. In order to ensure that each child becomes the best version of themself, we offer a plethora of programs, organizations and experiences where all students are involved at school. Our diverse multisensory specials rotations, student clubs, community involvement, routine enrichment and interventions, students learn about being leaders and have the opportunity to find their voices. Our Leader In Me Program offers additional opportunities to lead others.

    Education Approach

A rigorous, yet age appropriate curriculum where students are compelled to grow which leads to a well rounded education. While fundamental skills are important and necessary, Hardy Oak teachers ensure that the curriculum is richly enhanced by providing differentiated, higher order thinking questions and activities which are student-led. Students are encouraged to extend their thinking and learn useful problem solving skills that will aid in their future endeavors, shaping a future of academic success.

  • Our Cluster

Welcome to the Reagan Cluster in the North East Independent School District. As a Hardy Oak Elementary School student, your child will establish a passion, curiosity, and foundation for life-long learning while nurturing their social and emotional skills. Outside of the classroom, your child can embrace what they love or try something new through diverse clubs, programs and organizations.

Your child will discover even more opportunities at Lopez and Bush Middle School. As their academic foundation expands in the classroom, their circle of friends and experiences will grow through new opportunities in Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL contests, and more.

At Reagan High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing beloved Rattler traditions with memories that will last a lifetime. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of nationally recognized programs, organizations, and clubs – from Athletics to JROTC, Band, Dance, PALS, Photography, UIL, and much more.

There’s so much to discover in the Reagan cluster. Thank you for choosing NEISD.
