Welcome ETH Families! My name is Gaby Mendoza. I was born and raised in Mexico City and moved to San Antonio with my family at the age of 14. I am the proud parent of two amazing boys, who are eleven years apart, and a dog that's like another member of the family. My professional path took me through different opportunities in the private sector before finding my true calling and pursuing a career in education in 2005. I was a Bilingual and Dual Language Teacher for seven years before transitioning to the Family Specialist position at East Terrell Hills in 2012. Year after year, I feel honored to get to work with our amazing faculty, families and community members! I look forward to meeting you and working together to support our future leaders.

¡Bienvenidas familias de ETH! Mi nombre es Gaby Mendoza. Nací y crecí en la Ciudad de México y me vine a vivir a San Antonio con mi familia a los 14 años. Soy la madre orgullosa de dos jovencitos magníficos, que se llevan once años, y de un perro que es como otro miembro de la familia. Mi jornada profesional me llevo por diferentes oportunidades en el sector privado hasta encontrar mi verdadera vocación y empezar una carrera en educación en el 2005. Fui maestra bilingüe y dual por siete años antes de hacer la transición al puesto de Especialista de familias en East Terrell Hills en el 2012. ¡Año tras año me siento muy afortunada de poder trabajar con nuestro personal, las familias y esta comunidad tan maravillosas! Espero poder conocerlos y trabajar mano a mano para apoyar a nuestros líderes del futuro.
