    Serving Grades K through 5

Welcome to Colonial Hills Elementary! At this campus, you will find that our students are leaders. Not only here at school but also within the community. Colonial Hills strives to provide opportunities in which students can ignite the leader within themselves. Our mission is based around the principle that students will lead and we will follow. Come and take a look at all the amazing things Colonial Hills Elementary has to offer.

    Mission

At Colonial Hills Elementary School, we educate, empower and inspire future leaders. Nosotros educamos, capacitamos e inspiramos a los lideres del futuro. We provide a Dual Language program offering students diversity and an opportunity to learn new passions. The program offers instruction for native English speakers and native Spanish speakers in both languages. Our teachers are passionate about teaching and nurturing their students. They want to empower the students to take advantage of the many opportunities our school provides. Something else that makes our family unique is we have been awarded the Alliance for a Healthier Generation Award. We’ve got gold status. Only ten other schools in the nation received that status, and we are the only one in San Antonio. We care about your student’s health, nutrition and wellness. We do not include food items in our fundraisers. Colonial Hills does not sell competitive foods or drinks at our school. No foods or beverages are advertised on our campus. At Colonial Hills, we are growing like a tree and branching out to find the leader in all of our students.

    Vision

Our ultimate goal is for students to succeed. Here at Colonial Hills, we believe true success is born out of student leadership opportunities.. That’s why we encourage students to practice the 7 Habits throughout their daily activities. These 7 Habits are in place to help students develop leadership traits in order to become upstanding members of our campus community. Furthermore, this will benefit these students for years to come as they grow to be young adults. Our goal is for our students to succeed over their lifetimes in a world we cannot even imagine yet.

    Education Approach

At Colonial Hills, we offer both mono-lingual and bi-lingual academic courses. Each student will be served based on their own individual needs.

Welcome to the LEE Cluster in the North East Independent School District. As a Colonial Hills Elementary School student, your child will establish a passion, curiosity, and foundation for life-long learning while nurturing their social and emotional skills. Outside of the classroom, your child can embrace what they love or try something new through diverse clubs, programs and organizations.

Your child will discover even more opportunities at Nimitz and Jackson Middle School. As their academic foundation expands in the classroom, their circle of friends and experiences will grow through new opportunities in Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL contests, and more. The STEM Academy Middle School magnet is located at Nimitz. In this program, students forge a foundation for future careers in biomedical sciences, engineering, and technology fields.

At Legacy of Educational Excellence (LEE) High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing beloved Volunteer traditions with memories that will last a lifetime. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of nationally recognized programs, organizations, and clubs – from Athletics to JROTC, Band, Dance, PALS, Photography, UIL, and much more.

LEE High School is home to the International School of the Americas (ISA), the STEM Academy High School, and the North East School of the Arts (NESA). ISA focuses on project-based learning that tackles global issues while NESA paves the way for students interested in theatre, filmmaking, writing, art, and dance. The STEM Academy offers problem-based, technology-rich curriculum for students wanting to continue their study of science, technology, engineering, and math after graduation.

There’s so much to discover in the LEE cluster. Thank you for choosing NEISD.
