It is with great pride that I serve as the principal of Canyon Ridge Elementary!

This year I celebrate my 21st year in education! Throughout my career, I have served as a teacher, literacy instructional coach and campus administrator. My journey in education has allowed me to work with students across all grade levels in elementary.

As the principal of Canyon Ridge, I am committed to embracing the positive traditions and practices that are already in place while striving towards success for the future. My goal is to work alongside the staff, parents and the community to continue this great legacy for our students. We will continue to put students first and work diligently to ensure their success.

I believe all children should receive an exemplary education in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. Together we can help our children excel and provide them with an education that is second to none. I am excited about all we will accomplish together for our children and look forward to celebrating our collective success at Canyon Ridge.

I am proud to introduce myself as the assistant principal. I have been in education since 2007.  I began as a dual language teacher for Colonial Hills and Regency Elementary. I moved on to become a campus bilingual instructional coach for Stahl and Larkspur Elementary, where I supported students and teachers. I transitioned to a district bilingual instructional and compliance specialist for North East ISD. In 2020 I moved on to SAISD to become an assistant principal.

I was born in Brownsville, Texas but lived in Long Beach California for many years. I also lived in Laredo where my son was born but have made San Antonio my home. My husband and I enjoy cooking and traveling together.
I strongly believe that every child deserves equity and excellence every day and I am committed to ensuring that for the Clear Spring community.
