  • What are the hours of the Las Lomas Library?

  • How many books can students and parents check out?

    Posted by:

    *Ready Set Go, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students may check out 1 book for 1 week.

    *1st grade students may check out 2 books for 2 weeks.

    *2nd - 5th grade students may check out 2 books and 1 magazine for 2 weeks.

    *Parents and community members may check out up to 5 books for 3 weeks.

  • How do I get a parent account?

    Parent my sign up for their own library account. A parent account allows you:

    *to check out up to 5 books at a time for 2 weeks

    *access to Overdrive, the North East ISD eBook collection

     

    Come by the library to sign up for library access.

    **Note: If you have students attending different NEISD schools, you still only need 1 account.**

  • Book Care

    Posted by:

    Please talk to your child about a safe place to put their books so they do not lose them and so they are not damaged. By asking them to return their books on time and in good condition, we are teachign them to be responsible library atrons. If a book is lost, late, or damaged, a notice will be sent home withthe student.

  • What happens if a student or parent damages or loses a library book?

    It is the responsibility of the student or parent to pay for a damaged or lost library book unless circumstances warrant otherwise. Please see page 11 of the NEISD Student / Parent Handbook for the official policy.
