    Due to COVID-19, library book returns are on hold. Please keep up with your books and put in a safe place until further notice.

  • Can parents also check out Walzem library books to read at home?

    Yes! We want family members to read with our Walzem scholars and can sign up for a library account at the school or online. The online form is located under the Parent Information section of the library website. Once the account is created, 5 library books can be checked out at a time for up to 21 days.

  • Do you take credit/debit cards to pay for lost library books?

  • When is my child's library day?

    Please check with your child's teacher about which day they come to the library. Due to holidays and special events, those days are adjusted as needed.

  • How many books can my child check-out?

    PreK & Kinder check-out 1 book.

    1st grade- Semester 1: 1 book   Semester 2: 2 books

    2nd grade checks-out 2 books.

    3rd grade checks-out 3 books.

    4th & 5th grade- Semester 1: 3 books  Semester 2: 4 books

  • What is an ISBN?

    An ISBN is an International Standard Book Number. ISBNs were 10 digits in length up to the end of December 2006, but since 1 January 2007 they now always consist of 13 digits. ISBNs are calculated using a specific mathematical formula and include a check digit to validate the number.
