• I was born and raised in San Antonio, where my love for teaching began at a very early age. My younger siblings and stuffed animals often served as the "students" in my classroom, and the best gift I ever received as a child was a teaching play set, complete with a chalkboard and report cards! My heart has always been in education, and I am overjoyed to be your first grade teacher!

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin- Hook 'Em! I graduated with highest honors, earning a Bachelor Degree in Applied Learning and Development. I am certified as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for Early Childhood through Sixth Grade. I strive to utilize my energetic attitude and passion for teaching to foster a classroom environment where every student is capable of learning. My genuine dedication to individual student success fosters an environment to grow each student as a whole. By focusing not only on academics, but social/emotional growth and community responsibility as well, I aim to adequately prepare students for their future.

I just got married in June, and we bought a 96-year-old house that we are working on remodeling and restoring. I love traveling and attending sporting events. My hobbies include baking, crafting, and watching movies!
