I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio and began my teaching career in the Fall of 2000. Over the years, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I have been in NEISD since 2014, teaching 3rd grade at Fox Run Elementary School.   

Watching kids grow in knowledge and share what they know is an absolute joy! I love to empower students in their own learning by encouraging them to work cooperatively and share their ideas all day long. We learn from one another and our classroom is a fun learning environment. This type of learning also creates many long-lasting friendships along the way. I cherish the relationships I have made with my colleagues, students, and their families. 

I was born and raised in San Antonio. Some of my favorite things to do outside of work is travel, spend time outdoors, and go to music and sporting events. I am excited to have your child in my class this year and honored to be surrounded by such wonderful people every day. Together we will have a successful year!
