Mrs. Lesley Orta

Hello! My name is Lesley Orta and I graduated from UTSA with my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2009. I have been on quite a journey in my teaching career. I began as a three-year-old HeadStart teacher for Family Service Association for three years. From there, I went to School of Excellence for one year as a Pre-K teacher. Then, I worked at Edgewood ISD for 8 years, and currently I have been at Walzem for three years as a kindergarten teacher. After so many years in Pre-K, I decided to challenge myself to do a different grade level, and it turns out I love teaching kinder. I have three beautiful children and three amazing grandchildren. My children were my motivation to get my degree and begin my path as an educator.
