The results are in, and North East ISD students performed extremely well at the 2024 Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE).
Out of the total of 1,923 entries for this year's VASE art contest, 1,053 of those came from NEISD students. Out of those entries, 852 of them received the highest rating possible - that's an impressive 81% of all NEISD entries!
Of the 852 pieces that were awarded the highest rating, 97 were selected as state qualifiers.
This includes artwork from students at Churchill, Johnson, Legacy of Educational Excellence (LEE), MacArthur, Madison, Reagan, Roosevelt, North East School of the Arts (NESA) and the International School of the Americas (ISA).
